Since its debut in 2016 the original S&S 6.7 Power Stroke CP4 Bypass Kit has saved thousands of injectors from CP4 debris. The GEN2.1 is the fully evolved version — four years of engineering improvements over the original, addressing every potential weakness identified in real-world use. Made in the USA.

The CP4's reputation for failing without warning and destroying the entire high-pressure fuel system is well established. The bypass kit does not replace the CP4 — it protects everything downstream when the CP4 does fail. One part number fits all 2011 and newer Power Stroke applications.

What makes the GEN2.1 better than the original and better than every copy on the market:

All OE-style quick connect lines eliminate the need to cut the factory supply line — a debris introduction point, especially if the cut is not thoroughly deburred. Quick connects also eliminate compression fittings which are potential leak points, and eliminate threaded joints which are additional leak points and debris sources during installation.

Fuel supply split-off 25 inches from the CP4 — the original bypass kit splits off within an inch of the pump, making it more susceptible to debris back-feeding if the CP4 failure produces enough debris to clog the fuel return system. The GEN2.1 splits the supply 25 inches away, eliminating that risk.

2-micron debris filter in a clear firewall-mounted housing — when CP4 debris exits the pump case it is captured by the filter before it can reach the tank, fuel lines, or supply pump. The clear housing allows visual inspection at a glance. Previously, even owners with the original bypass kit installed would still need to drop the tank and deal with CP4 debris after a failure. The GEN2.1 eliminates that.

GEN2.1 billet filter head accepts standard spin-on fuel filters and comes with a Donaldson P550943 fuel filter at 9-micron and 99% efficiency.
