The LB7 Duramax is infamous for injector failures. The factory VCO nozzle design is the root cause — and S&S has teamed up directly with Bosch to solve it permanently.
SAC00® Injectors — The Durability Upgrade. S&S worked directly with Bosch to develop a stock-flowing LB7 SAC nozzle to replace the obsolete VCO nozzle used in factory LB7 injectors. The result is an emissions-compliant, direct replacement SAC00® injector that delivers stock fuel delivery with dramatically improved longevity. No calibration required. CARB compliant (EO number D-756-2). This is the definitive solution for LB7 owners who want the known failure point eliminated without changing fuel delivery or requiring a tune.
SAC45® Injectors — The 45% Over Option. Available at the 45% over size, the SAC45® is another S&S exclusive nozzle design for the LB7 platform delivering improved combustion characteristics at the mild performance level.
TorqueMaster Injectors — S&S's stock replacement option engineered for maximum low-end torque, drivability, and reliability for daily drivers and towing applications.
Performance sizing from 30% through 500% over stock covers the full range from mild street builds to maximum effort competition engines. Available in both new and reman configurations across the entire lineup. Larger flow rates require an upgraded or modified CP3, dual CP3 system, lift pump upgrades, turbocharger or compound setup upgrades, and custom tuning calibrated specifically for your injector size. Oversizing injectors without proper supporting components results in poor drivability and excessive smoke. When properly matched these injectors deliver clean, controlled power.
