2 HD VIN Licenses

Two VIN licenses are included with your upgrade. Each license authorizes tuning on one specific HD engine controller. Additional VIN licenses can be purchased separately.

Step-by-Step

How to Get Your
Auth Code

Your Authorization Code is generated directly from EFILive software on your PC. You'll need your FlashScan V3 connected and EFILive installed before you can retrieve it.

    Connect your FlashScan V3 to your PC via USB and open the EFILive software.
  2. 02
    Open the FlashScan and AutoCal Licensing dialog from within EFILive.
  3. 03
    Click the F3: VINs tab on the left side of the licensing window.
  4. 04
    Click Generate Auth Code at the bottom of the screen. Copy the generated code.
  5. 05
    Paste your Auth Code into the Authorization Code field above when placing your order.

Transmission Controllers

Supported transmission control modules do not require a VIN License. Your 2 included VIN licenses apply to engine controllers only.

FlashScan V3 Required

This is a software upgrade for an existing FlashScan V3. If you do not already own a FlashScan V3, you will need to purchase one before this upgrade can be applied.
