EFI VIN License
Purchase additional VIN licenses to tune additional engine and transmission controllers on your existing EFILive device. Each VIN license covers one supported ECM/PCM and one supported TCM — they don't need to be from the same vehicle.
Before Purchasing
This product is intended for customers who already own an EFILive AutoCal or FlashScan device. The physical device is not included. If you do not yet have a device, you will need to purchase one before these VIN licenses can be used.
License Coverage
What One License Covers
One ECM / PCM
Each license authorizes tuning on one supported engine control module or powertrain control module.

One TCM
The same license also covers one supported transmission control module. The ECM/PCM and TCM do not need to be from the same vehicle.
The FlashScan V2/AutoCal VIN licensing scheme does not rely on the VIN itself, but on other non-VIN data unique to each controller.

- Contact your tuner to expand the slot limit before purchasing additional licenses
Step-by-Step
How to Get Your
Auth Code
Your Authorization Code is generated directly from EFILive software on your PC. You'll need your FlashScan V3 or AutoCal connected and EFILive installed before you can retrieve it.

Connect your device to your PC via USB and open the EFILive software.

Open the FlashScan and AutoCal Licensing dialog from within EFILive.

Click the F3: VINs tab on the left side of the licensing window.

Click Generate Auth Code at the bottom of the screen. Copy the generated code.

Paste your Auth Code into the Authorization Code field above when placing your order.
Delivered via Email
VIN licenses are delivered to you via email after your order is processed. No hardware needs to be sent in or returned.
AutoCal Slot Limit
If you own an AutoCal, contact your tuner first to ensure your VIN slot limit has been expanded before purchasing additional licenses.
