The ECUMaster 4-Position CAN Keyboard is the most minimal and space-efficient panel in the ECUMaster CAN keyboard lineup — requiring only 4 wires for the entire keyboard versus the complex wiring of a traditional switch panel. Built to withstand the harshest motorsport environments with an IP67 rating, this keyboard is completely immune to water, mud, and fuel.
The 4-position is purpose-built for applications where space is at an absolute premium or where only a small number of critical functions require dedicated driver control. It excels as a secondary keyboard on a dual PMU setup, a steering wheel-mounted control panel, a roll cage or halo bar mounted auxiliary panel, or any location where a full-size keyboard simply will not fit. Four buttons, four functions, zero wasted space.
Built-in LEDs indicate button states in red, green, and amber and serve as backlighting for the keyboard in low-light conditions. CAN bus compatible at 125kbps, 250kbps, and 500kbps speeds. Works with EMU BLACK (up to 1 keyboard) and all PMU devices (up to 2 keyboards simultaneously). The behavior of every key is fully configurable in ECUMaster's EMU BLACK or PMU client software.
Thanks to a unique system of interchangeable key inserts, it is easy to rearrange the keypad layout using existing inserts. Custom inserts can also be supplied. Every keyboard ships with a sheet of labels and blank buttons so you can configure it exactly the way you want from day one.
