Tuning the 2003–2007 5.9L Cummins on both EFILive and HP Tuners. We start with terminology and fundamentals, then tune a truck from scratch in stages, reading datalogs and checking every change as we go. You'll learn what to change, and why.

  • Both software platforms, side by side
  • A truck tuned from scratch in multiple stages, with datalogs reviewed at each step
  • Q&A all week, then open dyno time to wrap up
  • Bring your own truck: we'll pick a few to work through together as a group
  • Morning coffee, snacks and drinks, and catered lunches from local restaurants every day

Standalone engine management for high-performance diesels. A short refresher on the fundamentals, then straight into making big power do exactly what you want, and keeping the engine alive while it does. This isn't going to be a week of watching PowerPoints.

  • Both platforms in depth: wiring, CAN bus, system configuration, advanced control strategies, calibration
  • Systems set up from scratch and run on real hardware
  • Review the results, troubleshoot and refine the calibration

Registration is by invitation

Nearly 50 people asked about the EFILive & HP Tuners class and more than 30 about MoTeC & ECUMaster, so seats go out by invitation. Register with the email address your invitation was sent to. An invitation doesn't guarantee a seat: seats go to whoever completes registration while seats last, and full payment is required to hold your seat.

  1. Friday, November 6, 2026. Invitations start going out by email.
  2. Register. Enter your invited email below, add each attendee and check out.
  3. Friday, November 13, 2026. The first window closes. Seats left over go to the next group on the list.

EFILive & HP Tuners

Invitations go out in the order RSVPs were received. No vetting, just the original sign-up order.

MoTeC & ECUMaster

Invitations go to these groups in order, by RSVP order within each group:

  1. Customers whose vehicles we've wired, configured and support
  2. Customers already scheduled with us for an installation
  3. Everyone else who asked

Payment terms

Full payment is required to hold your seat.

EFILive & HP Tuners

If you can't attend, you can transfer your seat to someone else, or we can resell your seat and refund your payment.

MoTeC & ECUMaster

Attendees for this class are vetted, so seats can't be transferred. If you can't attend, Hardway Performance can resell your seat and refund your payment.

With this much interest, Ryan is looking at another EFILive & HP Tuners class this summer and possibly another advanced class later in 2027. Both classes are planned again for spring 2028. Get on the list, or ask where you stand.

When and where are the classes?

EFILive & HP Tuners runs March 1–5, 2027. MoTeC & ECUMaster runs April 5–9, 2027. Both are at Hardway Performance, 5512 Timber Creek Drive, Pace, FL 32571.

What's included?

Five days of hands-on training, morning coffee, snacks, water and drinks, and catered lunches from local restaurants every day. The EFILive & HP Tuners week ends with open dyno time.

Can I bring my own truck?

For the EFILive & HP Tuners class, yes. Tell us when you register and we'll pick a few trucks to work through together as a group.

Does an invitation guarantee a seat?

No. Seats are first come, first served among invited people, and full payment is required to hold your seat. The EFILive & HP Tuners class seats 20 and MoTeC & ECUMaster seats 15, and registration stops when they're full.

What if I can't attend?

EFILive & HP Tuners: you can transfer your seat to someone else, or we can resell your seat and refund your payment. MoTeC & ECUMaster: attendees for this class are vetted, so seats can't be transferred, but Hardway Performance can resell your seat and refund your payment. See payment terms.
