Transmission Support — Aisin Not Supported

Hardway does not currently support Aisin Tuning. Some supported vehicles equipped with the Aisin AS69RC transmission may also include the AS69RC_B TCM. Calibration access requires (4) additional Universal Credits per TCM.

The Details

One-Time Send-In Upgrade Service

This one-time service upgrades an original RAM CM2450B ECM and is required for tuning using HP Tuners’ software.

You must physically remove the original ECM from your vehicle and ship it to HP Tuners headquarters for servicing. Once upgraded, you’ll have full access to calibrate, log, and scan via the OBDII port.

Note: No IMMO relearn, crank relearn, or ‘Replace ECM’ function in VCM Scanner is required — as long as the ECM returns to the same vehicle it came from.

Confirm your vehicle’s support and purchase this upgrade service. Ensure you have an MPVI3 or MPVI4 interface and 2018+ Dodge Smart Access Cable.

Download Shipping Form

After placing your order, download and complete the shipping form. Place the form inside your shipping box.

Print Shipping Form →
Package Your ECM

Remove your ECM and package it safely with the completed shipping form inside the box.

Label Your Box

Write your order number clearly on the outside of the shipping box.

Ship to HP Tuners

Ship your ECM to HP Tuners using any carrier of your choice. Shipping costs to HP Tuners are the customer’s responsibility.

HP Tuners Services Your ECM

HP Tuners upgrades your ECM for tuning and diagnostics, then ships it back to you. Allow up to 7 business days for processing (not including shipping).

Reinstall & Tune

Reinstall your upgraded ECM, purchase and apply Universal Credits, and begin tuning using your interface and VCM Suite BETA.

Allow up to 7 business days (plus shipping times) per ECM once it arrives at our location. (e.g., 2 ECMs = up to 14 business days). This does not include return shipping time.

Hardware Orders

Any hardware ordered with this product will be shipped along with your upgraded ECM. To avoid delays, order other hardware separately.

Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for shipping costs when sending HP Tuners your ECM/PCM/TCM. The checkout shipping charge only covers returning your control module after modification.

Important Information

Service Notes

MPVI2 and MPVI2+ are NOT compatible. Only MPVI3 or MPVI4.
While the stock ECM is at HP Tuners, a spare ECM cannot be temporarily installed and relearned.
Once upgraded, you must license your ECM. Universal credits sold separately.
Upon reinstallation, connect to VCM Scanner and read/clear DTCs.
No other tuning or calibration tools can be used with the ECM.
Dealer diagnostic tools and VCM Scanner will continue to function normally.
VCM Suite can be used to return to stock calibration or update to the latest stock calibration.

These ECM/PCM/TCM services are completed at the owner’s risk. HP Tuners and Hardway Performance will not be responsible for the vehicle, its powertrain, or electronics, nor how the control module is used, calibrated, or its functionality.

Due to the factory location of the ECM in the vehicle, all ECMs will exhibit signs of weathering and wear, which is completely normal.

When utilizing this service there is a possibility that the vehicle will need to be sent to the dealer to be re-synced. Purchaser accepts all liability for this activity.
