Advanced custom ECM calibrations written specifically for you by Ryan Milliken using EFILive Software — to be used with your EFILive V2 or AutoCal. Intended for high horsepower applications utilizing any combination of aftermarket injectors, injection pumps, and turbo setups. Every calibration is optimized around your modifications, driver requests, and intended vehicle use.
“Tuning does not create horsepower, hard parts create horsepower, tuning simply unleashes it.”

Power Levels
Five CSP Levels — One Calibration
Gains based on 100% stock application. Your actual numbers will vary based on build, fuel system, and turbo setup.
Entry level. Clean, driveable power over stock — a noticeable step up without pushing the drivetrain hard.
Solid daily level. Confident on the street or towing, with meaningful power across the entire RPM range.
Mid-range performance. Strong pull, great throttle response, still manageable for everyday use.
High performance territory. Start thinking about your supporting drivetrain at this level.
Maximum output. Full-send — calibrated to extract everything your fuel system and turbo can deliver.
Calibrations are written custom to YOUR combination — injectors, pump, turbo, rail sensor, and driver input all shape the final file.
File Delivery
Two Formats.
You Choose.
.BBX Format
For AutoCal / EFILive V2
A quick setup file that loads directly to your AutoCal or V2. Everything bundled — calibration, vehicle definition, and layout — ready to flash without any additional configuration. Best for most retail customers.
.CTZ Format
For FlashScan V2
The raw calibration file in EFILive's native format. Used by dealers and tuners who load files themselves via FlashScan. Requires EFILive software knowledge and a licensed FlashScan device to flash.

Tech Sensors
Hardway 10 Bar MAP Sensor by RIFE | 5.9 & 6.7 Cummins | High Boost Billet | Integrated IAT
The stock 50PSIA MAP sensor runs out of range well before the CM849 does. If you're selecting the 145PSIA / 10BAR calibration option — or planning to — this is the physical sensor your ECM needs to actually read that data. Built for high-boost 5.9 applications, direct plug-in fit, no wiring modifications required.

Important Notes
2007.5 and Newer — Not Supported
This calibration service is for the 2006–2007 5.9L Cummins (CM849 ECM) only. We do not offer EFILive calibration services on 2007.5 and newer trucks. If you have a 2007.5 or newer, this product is not for you.
Re-Tune Fee Waived on Parts Purchases
If we've tuned your truck and you're upgrading parts that require a re-tune down the road, we will waive the $200 re-tune fee if you purchase those parts from us. Plan ahead and save.
Questions
Frequently Asked
What is a CSP level and how does it work?
CSP (Custom Switch Position) levels are the EFILive equivalent of tune presets — each CSP slot holds a separate calibration file. You can switch between them using your EFILive key or a CSP Switch without reflashing. The five levels represent increasing power outputs, from a conservative CSP1 (+30 HP on stock) all the way to a maximum-effort CSP5 (+180 HP on stock).
What's the difference between .BBX and .CTZ format?
.BBX is a quick setup file bundled for AutoCal or EFILive V2 — it contains everything needed to flash straight from the device with no additional configuration. .CTZ is the raw calibration file in EFILive's native format, used by dealers and experienced tuners who load it via a licensed FlashScan V2. If you're a retail customer with an AutoCal, choose .BBX.
Why do you need flow sheets, and where do I send them?
Flow sheets are the injector test data provided by your injector manufacturer or rebuilder — they show the actual flow rates and correction factors for your specific set of injectors. This data lets Ryan fine-tune injector scaling for maximum accuracy. They're optional but strongly recommended if you have them. Email to calibrations@hardwayperformance.com and reference your order number.
What does the 30-day file update support include?
After your initial calibration is delivered, Ryan includes approximately 30 days of revision support to dial the file in around your real-world feedback. If something feels off, you're pulling differently than expected, or you need a small adjustment, reach out and we'll get it corrected — all included in the purchase price.
Why do I need the 10 Bar MAP sensor if I select 145PSIA?
The stock MAP sensor on the 5.9 maxes out at 50PSIA — that's its physical limit. If your calibration is set up to read and command above that range (as it will be with the 145PSIA / 10BAR option), the ECM will see a clipped, inaccurate signal from the stock sensor. The 10 Bar MAP sensor replaces it with one that can accurately report the full pressure range your setup is producing. It's a direct plug-in replacement — no wiring changes.
Does this support my 2007.5 or newer Cummins?
No. This calibration service is exclusively for 2006–2007 5.9 Cummins trucks equipped with the CM849 ECM. We do not offer EFILive calibration services for 2007.5 and newer trucks. If you have a newer truck, check out our HPTuners tuning options for your year range.
