As with many of these aftermarket parts, choosing the right combination for the overall use of the truck and horsepower goals of the truck are insanely important to achieving the BEST results to make your dreams a reality!
2nd Gen Swaps are split up into 3 different parts with plenty of options to fit your use or goals for your diesel, Manifold, Piping Kit Options, and TURBSKI!
Stainless Diesel: Available in T4 or T6. Included NON Polished Manifold; Short Studs; & All Gaskets Needed to Install; Stainless has never had to warranty one of their manifolds due to cracking or warping. Manifolds are available as polished as well. EGT Probe ports tapped & plugged for use as needed.
Steed Speed: Available in T4 or T6. Included Manifold & Hardware; Always 4-5 weeks out due to overwhelming demand. Great Choice when considering an aftermarket manifold!
03-12 Common Rail: Upgrade-able Extreme Duty Line; Pre-Filter Wrap (Black/Blue/Red); Turbo Blanket (Black or Lava); Powder Coating Color
13-20 Common Rail: Add-able Pre-Filter Wrap (Black/Blue/Red); Powder Coating Color
Note: If you are considering a towing setup, we recommend considering going NO BIGGER than a S464. If you are after more than the capability of the S464, may we recommend either a Stock/S475 – 650 HP kit or Cheetah/S475 – 750 HP kit for your towing needs. We can make more HP than this, however no kits exist nor do we recommend towing with more than 800 HP due to losing most of your reliability. Towing with that amount of HP puts a MAJOR strain on components and is not something we would offer as a “kit”. We have however made many combos that allowed for towing within the 1000+ HP range and would be happy to help make yours, but we want to make sure you understand the restraints of what is capable. Borg Warner Cast S464/83; T4; .90/1.0/1.10; V-Band; 5″ Inlet: 600/650 HP Rated Charger; GREAT for Heavy Towing; 45% Over Injector Max; Great Drive-ability; Minimal Turbo Lag. Overspeed is a concern with .90 Housings, If you are working the truck “hard” and will be exceeding MPH that is above the speed limit in the US, then a 1.0 or greater exhaust housing is recommended due to shaft speed. The trade off of this is low end spool will be worst by a few 100 RPM. This will be out “stock” replacement for 6.7’s looking to get away from the factory VGT.
Forced Induction S467.7/83; T4; .90/1.0/1.10; V-Band; 5″ Inlet: 700/750 HP Rated Charger; Minimal 5K or less Towing OK; 60%-80% Over Injector Max; Good Drive-Ability; Noticeable smoke production when leaving stop light due to spool up. See notes above for overspeed concerns with this charger. Overspeed is a major concern on the S464 & S467 due to the size of the chargers.
Forced Induction S472/87; T4; .90 V-Band; 5″ Inlet: Hardway’s Favorite! 800/850 HP Rated Charger; Minimal 5K or less Towing OK; Great Drive-Ability; Turbine works great with this charger for a decent spool time. Minimal smoke production. 100% Over Injector is the best choice for this charger. We only offer it is .90 as we feel that spool up is extremely important with this combo to ensure proper performance!
Forced Induction S476/87; T4; .90 V-Band; 5″ Inlet: Starting to get serious? 900/950 HP Rated Charger; No Towing; 250%/5.9 or 300%/6.7 Nova Nozzles. Smoke production will increase with this charger when taking off from a stop.
Stainless Diesel 5 Blade S480/96; T6; 1.10; V-Band; 5.5″ Inlet: 1000/1050 HP Rated Charger; No Towing; 250%/5.9 or 300%/6.7 Nova Nozzles. Smoke production further increased with drive-ability decreasing, proper fueling upgrades extremely important at this size of charger. This is going to be your first step into the T6 realm of HP. We feel that making the step to a T6 instead of the T4 at THIS point in the HP range is extremely important to helping the truck make the HP!
Stainless Diesel 5 Blade Godfather S485/96; T6; 1.15; V-Band; 5.5″ Inlet: 1150/1200 HP Rated Charger; No Towing; 250%/5.9 or 300%/6.7 Nova Nozzles. Smoke production further increased with drive-ability decreasing, proper fueling upgrades extremely important at this size of charger.
