**NOTE: All Red Horse transmissions require a VERIFIED MINIMUM 200 PSI tune! Warranty will NOT be honored if the truck is not tuned properly.
68RFE Stocktimized Warhorse: NO HP Adders; Great Work Truck Trans! Budget Friendly option to get you back up and running!
Warhorse 650: Great Choice for Heavy Towing with decent over stock power adders. Rated for 650 HP. This would be a great choice behind a truck with mild fueling upgrades and a S464/Cheetah or similar size.
Warhorse 750: Perfect Choice for that HOT daily driver. Rated for 750 HP. This is a good choice for someone with more moderate fueling upgrades and a S467 or similar size. Using this kit with a set of Stock/Cheetah over S475 compounds for the ultimate heavy towing setup would be a great choice as well!
Warhorse 900: Dallas Penn’s favorite unit. Rated for 900 HP! This is the best choice for someone who has the wild fueling upgrades with a S472/S476 or similar size. Note: This unit has a VERY firm shift. This is not the unit you will want if you want to keep the “comfortable” shifts! This unit will hold what you throw at it and keep you on the road for years to come!
Warhorse 1000: Need I say more? Rated for 1000 HP! Welcome to modern 68RFE technology, who knew we could make it this far! This is your ultimate choice in 68RFE technology that is currently available on the market that we feel is worth putting the #hardwayapproved hashtag on! Torque Converter Stall: Typically, when it comes to choosing stall, stock stall works for most of the applications out there. If you use the truck for more towing than anything and you have no plans to make it into the higher realm of HP, choosing a “lower than stock” stall will help with utilizing the low end torque Cummins are known to put out, however the truck will be a tad bit harder to stay stopped at a stop light since the converter will have less slip. If you are unsure on stall, go stock stall and you’ll be good to go. Use the fill-able box above to write in desired stall or simply put “Stock”.
Additional Options: 13+ Cummins; HIGHLY Recommend changing out your transmission line thermostat for a “thermostatic bypass”. This will allow for this failed design to be completely bypassed and allow fluid to be ran to the cooler 24/7. WE INSTALL THIS ON ALL OF THE UNITS HERE IN THE SHOP! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! This is only on the 13+ Cummins; We have seen a few on 2012 and older trucks, however it is rare.
Fluid Requirements: Simple. Regular ATF+4 will do the trick! Normal capacity with cooler is usually around 25 quarts off a complete fill for a newly installed unit with a cleaned out trans cooler & lines.

See the various menus above? Choose your transmission, torque converter brand and stall, flex plate and if you would like ARP hardware with it. After you place your order, get your build-able core ready to ship! We will setup a freight pickup & drop off from your location. We will call you to get a pick up time coordinated. Pallet-ize your transmission and ensure it is fully drained of fluid and is strapped tightly to the pallet. A freight truck will come to your location, take your core and ship it to Red Horse. Red Horse will build the unit to your specifications per your order and ship the unit back to you ready to install! Doing it this way will also allow avoidance of a core charge on the transmission. Torque Converter core will still apply.
