Feed your Cummins the fuel it needs with an Air Dog Lift Pump System! While CP3’s technically do have very small “lift pumps” in them by design, these pumps as well as the actual lift pump that Dodge put into these trucks are absolute trash, and we all know it! This is one of the most common modifications for your Dodge Diesel out there! Both the Older and 4G style is available for purchase here at Hardway! We have also included the option for a Beans Sump. Every single truck we install a lift pump here at the shop gets one of these. Much easier to install into the truck as well as it is a 100% included everything kit! Talk about a one stop shop!
What GPH do I need for my build?
Any of the above options will do, however they are rated to handle a certain amount of diesel per a rough horsepower estimation. Use this as a guide when choosing your pump. Choosing a pump that is way over rated for your application is OK. Think of it as a “capability” rating.
100 GPH = Stock to 500 HP
150/165 GPH = Stock to 800 HP; This is the most common choice for applications.
200 GPH = 800 HP+
**Note for 13-18 Cummins owners. If you are not after more than 800 HP, your factory lift pump system is quite capable of that HP range. We feel that because of this, upgrading the lift pump in these year trucks aren’t always 100% necessary!
