    The South Bend Street Dual Disc Clutch is the perfect option for the truck that does it all. From daily-driven street performance to towing, the 13" diaphragm style 3250lb. pressure plate offers maximum holding power with easy pedal effort. An industry first! South Bend has developed an organic friction in a button form allowing for a dual friction, dual disc clutch. The organic lining will be facing the pressure place and flywheel for smooth engagement yet still offers superior holding power. All the clutch components in this assembly are made of steel. The center plate is lugged to fit the flywheel. This complete clutch has no special requirements for install. It is a direct replacement of the OEM clutch.

    The Ceramic Street Dual Disc is best suited for daily driven trucks that have performance modifications up to 650HP that do see some racing or hard use. Light towing is possible; clutch engagement will be somewhat aggressive but tolerable.

While the holding power for the Kevlar faced clutch is higher than the organic/organic faced clutches, the main advantage is less wear on the flywheel and longer life. Ideally suited to trucks with moderate performance power modifications. If towing more than the occasional 7,500-10,000lbs the Organic Dual Disc will be a better option. For use on 5-Speed NV4500 Transmission.

Ceramic is a very hard material so typically flywheel wear is more noticeable using a ceramic clutch than with other materials. This clutch has a small window of usage, ideally suited to trucks with performance power modifications that do not intend to tow with there truck. (Not recommended for towing) For use on 5-Speed NV4500 Transmission.

The drive straps installed from the floater plate to the flywheel will eliminate rattle when the clutch pedal is pressed in. This clutch requires extra care during the installation to ensure that the drive straps are properly installed.
